VPS Frequently Asked Questions
Virtual private servers can be a tricky thing to understand so we've tried our best to explain them through our VPS packages and we've outlined our FAQ's below but if you are still unsure get in touch with our support team who are here to help 24*7
What Is A VPS
A VPS is you're own slice of a powerful dedicated server. Your VPS runs in isolation from any other VPS so no one else can effect you're virtual server.
How Is A VPS Different From A Shared Account
On a shared server you share all your resources with everyone else. If another site on the server becomes busy, whilst we try to prevent it happening, it ultimately has the effect of slowing your website down. With a VPS this doesn't happen as they run in isolation.
Is A VPS Better Than A Dedicated Server
Put simply, no - a VPS is not a substitute for a full featured dedicated server. DS's have more power, more resources and are designed for more demanding websites.
If I Buy A Starter Package Is It Easy To Upgrade
