How Do I Setup My AutoDiscover CNAME For Exchange 2007
Requirements:
* Only for mailboxes on Exchange 2007
* Must have control over domain. For example, users who purchased their domain.
This step requires you to create a CNAME record, this is usually associated with the company that you registered your domain with.
Creating this record will allow you to synchronize your offline address book, show free/busy information and enable the Out of office feature.
Please send a request to your current DNS provider requesting a CNAME record change. Many web hosting companies have a control panel you can login to to make these kinds of changes. Below we demonstrate what you would need to do if we do not host your DNS, and it is hosted elsewhere.
Create a CNAME like this:
autodiscover.yourdomainname.com. CNAME autodiscoverredirect.swordfishhosting.co.uk.
* yourdomainname.com, means please substitute your domain, it is only an example
